I am so excited to be your librarian and a part of Bear Nation. I have been in education for over 15 years, and I absolutely love what I do! Every day is a new challenge and adventure, and that is why I am an educator. I received my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and I received a Masters in Library Science from Sam Houston State University. Go Bearkats! I love getting the opportunity to make a difference in the world by teaching. I can't wait to learn more about all of our readers here at BDJH and grow your love of reading even more with the library program that I hope to bring to life for you this year! I look forward to showing you all that the library has to offer. :)

I joined the Beckendorff staff as Library Clerk.   I have worked as a special collections librarian and archivist in the past and now enjoy being on the same schedule as my two children in Katy ISD.  We enjoy traveling, camping, and spoiling our cat.
