Science Olympiad

A competitive team, for grades 7 and 8, which competes against schools from around the state and nation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics events. Nearly 8,000 teams from all 50 U.S. states compete each year. There are multiple levels of competition: invitational, regional, state, and national.

Applications for the 2021-2022 school year have closed. Students interested in applying for the 2022-2023 school year should look out for tryout information that will be posted in May 2022 in e-news. Students should complete the application prior to the tryout. During the tryout, students will have 2 hours to complete a science-based test and be interviewed by one of the freshman captains. There is no study or practice material for the test – please do not ask.
